WyndhamVR Bentley Brook

The nightly rates to stay in the Wyndham Bentley are expensive. For that money we expect to obtain accommodations that will allow us to get a good night's sleep. A good night's sleep was impossible in the Wyndham Bentley Brook due to loud noise from equipment in this resort. At the very least, a paying guest should be guaranteed a room where the ambient noise level does not prevent a good night's sleep. Prior to our trip we checked several travel web sites, no one complained about excessive noise. This would indicate there are some rooms in the Bentley Brook that are quiet enough to allow guests to get a good night's sleep. I rate the Wyndham Bentley Brook unsatisfactory for one important reason; excessive noise in rooms 2726 and room 2731 that prevents a guest from getting a good night sleep. Both of the rooms we occupied were end units and that may have been the problem. I believe the noise is generated by elevator equipment adjacent to room 2731, and building heating equipment adjacent to room 2726. We have stayed in many hotels and have never experienced noise at a level that prevents a person from sleeping. The noise seems to be coming from hotel equipment on the other side of the wall. If we had been given one of the inner rooms that would have placed our room away from the noise source and allowed us to get a good night's sleep. We find it hard to believe no one else has complained about the noise in room 2726 and room 2731. We find it hard to believe the Bentley Brook front desk personnel did not know the two rooms were excessively noisy. Wyndham Bentley Brook should never rent room 2726 and room 2731 to paying customers until they repair the heating/cooling systems that are so loud. At the very least, a paying guest should be guaranteed a room where the ambient noise level does not prevent a good night's sleep.

Resort at foot of the mountain, therefore it was easy to get to lifts and shops. Condo was updated and made a clean and refreshed presentation and resort staff were helpful. We had a short stay (2 nights) so only ate breakfast in the condo, but there was good cookware and facilities. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the condo too. The pool and hot tubs were enjoyed. No time for the other activities at the resort. We dined nearby, as we usually do, at Powder Hounds one night. The other we forged out to the Old Forge. Both places have nice food at reasonable prices.

Wonderful location, beautiful large condos for an unbeatable price. Walk out with your boots and skis to the lift through the locker rooms, and you will end up near the Jiminy Peak ticket counter. Rooms are huge, spotless, with jacuzzi tub and full kitchen incl laundry. I can't wait to return.

Bentely Brook was a great place to stay on Jiminy Peak Mountain resort. The rooms were spacious and very very clean and in great condition. It was very helpful to have a washer and dryer right inside the unit. I liked the fact that I did not have to drive to the ski lifts although it was a bit confusing to get out of the building from the ground level to go up to the lifts (but better than driving!). The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. Although the hotel seemed to be filled to capacity, I was nicely surprised at how quiet it was, especially in the halls. The kids had plenty to do at the property after skiing.
