The Royal River is located right on the river and has a beautiful view. The Royal River has excellent access to the river taxi which is a very inexpensive and easy way to travel to some of the tourist areas including the Royal Palace and Reclining Buddha. The pool is clean and relaxing and the free breakfast buffet is wonderful.

Lovely place with great bang for buck!
Only comment I have is that the blinds in the bedroom of the grande suit I stayed in, block about 60-70% of the sun light so be prepared for an early sunshine wakeup!!

The service is great, the staff is friendly and responsive, the breakfast menu is very extensive, and the location of the hotel is great, close to the main shopping centers and BTS public transportation is only two blocks away. The rooms are spacious and very clean with great views of the city. If i get a chance to be back in Bangkok this is where I will stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The service was wonderful, the room spacious and tastefully decorated. I especially loved the pool area. I only used it in the mornings but it was serence and quiet, surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers -- in the middle of Bangkok! I enjoyed my stay so much I am planning a return stay in a couple of weeks. They even stored some of my belongings while I continued to travel. And, they did so without requesting a fee or another firm reservation! The staff was warm, professional and completely service oriented. Fabulous stay!

Ich hatte das Hotel sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch kurz vor dem Abflug gebucht. Es hat in allen Belangen meinen Vostellungen nicht nur genügt, sondern hat sie übertroffen. Der Empfang freundlich, das Zimmer sehr ansprechend. Die Betten hervorragend. Die Poolanlage für ein Stadthotel wirklich überraschend überwältigend. Das Frühstücksbuffet folgt diesem Lob der Poolanlage. Auch hier wurde höchste Priorität auf Qualität gelegt. Ich werde sicherlich dort noch öfter nächtigen.

Der findes ligeledes gratis internethjørne som gæsterne kan bruge på mezzaninetagen. (02/07SW) Den udvendige del er en moderne 28-etagers højhuskonstruktion i glas og beton. Hotellet ligger på Chao Phraya River ved siden af anløbsbroen. Hotellet ligger inden for en radius af 3 km fra Silom og Suriwongses forretnings- og forlystelsesområde.

Firstly many thanks for selling this hotel so cheaply 4 nights in 5* luxury for only £246 - simply fantastic.
This hotel is in an amazing location along side the river, a complimentary boat takes guests to the Skytrain station which is the perfect mode of transport to get around bangkok, beats sitting in several traffic jams.
Our room was spacious with two very comfortable double beds which had good quality bed linen. Slippers and robes were also provided for guest use. The bathroom was also spacious, plenty of hand towels and bath sheets were provided. Floor to ceiling window gave a wonderful view of the river.
One minor issue was no plug socket close to the (full lenght) mirror.
Swimming pool areas offered great service with comfotable beds, fluffy towels and parasols, the only down side was the price of drinks and food a diet cola was jsut under £4, we used the complimentary water provided in the room for which bar staff at the swim up bar were happy to provide us with large glasses of ice.
Free internet is provided on the first floor for one hour per day, if you don't have your own laptop or ipad there are 6 terminals provided by the hotel, this is ideal for keeping in contact with home free of charge.
On check in the receptionist gave us 3 keys - one each and the third one was for keeping in the switch which allowed the air conditioning to stay on so the room was always nice and cool when we returned, this was a big bonus.

I loved this hotel! The ultra contemporary decor makes you feel like you are royalty, and the price was phenomenally reasonable. The staff is very polite. The dining room has an excellent and varied breakfast buffet and a delicious dinner menu, as well. In-room WiFi worked perfectly. The only strange thing was that the bathroom door is a slider that has open slots on each end, so it isn't very private. Also, the location is a bit hard for taxi drivers to find, if they are unfamiliar with the area. I would suggest that the management include specific directions to the hotel on the website. This place is a real bargain. Highly recommended!

From beginning to the end of our stay we were treated wonderfully, better than we have been treated in other hotels. The room was very attractive and clean. The breakfast buffet was great. And the cookies in the evening were an unexpected treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly with neded arrangements. We will certainly stay here again.

どこに行くにもとにかく便利。雨がふってもデパートの中を通ってホテルに戻れるのがまたいい。日本人スタッフも親切で近くのおいしいレストランなども教えていただきました。朝食もおいしいし、プールサイドも都会の中のオアシスで最高。ホテルのとなりにある公園がまたいい。バンコクには数十回訪れていますが、トータルで一番いいです。早朝のチェックアウトの際もスタッフさんがタクシーを無償で手配してくれ助かりました。次回も利用したいです。

Staff extremely polite and helpful. Very well organised hotel. Very clean, good internet price, restaurant on lower level not to be recommended the snack bar at entrance level ok. Easy walk to shopping centres. For more distant shopping we took an auto rickshaw for pre arranged price of 20 baht return.

The staff was wonderful, never had any problems and the room was the exact size I needed for our 15 day stay. I would recommend this Hotel to friends and family. Excellent experience and one that I will return to should I go back to Thailand.

Clean and efficient hotel situated in a quiter part of central Bangkok. Short walk (or hotel provide a free Tuk Tuk ride) to the nearby skytrain allowing for quick access to other parts of the City.
Staff were attentive and helpful and would certainly use this hotal again when staying in Bangkok.

This suited me perfectly. Had an Executive Studio serviced apartment with a balcony that got the sun in the afternoon. Well equipped with high quality fittings and furnishings. Excellent Siemens washing machine, iron, ironing board meant no waiting for laundry. Decent Internet connection 1,200 baht per week for work. Fully equipped kitchen. Everything new and clean. Bath and separate stand up shower. Could not have asked for more.

My arrival in Bangkok was scheduled for 11:40 PM and was one hour late. I had arranged for the hotel to pick me up at the airport. Without checking the arrival schedule they went at 11:40 PM and of course my flight had not arrived yet. There was no one there when my flight finally arrived at 1:10 in the morning. Other than that glitch, I would stay there anytime. Great hotel and great people. On departing Bangkok for Pattaya the next day they went out of their way to secure me a taxi that knew where I was going. Love the place!!!

Great location first, short walk to SkyTrain.
Elegant Banyian style studio, has great gym&sauna.
Staff exceptionally friendly &helpful: once the (free) wifi signal was weak, they send two techs right away and installed a router under my desk!!!
Classy morning Buffett included. Even groudplay for kids and elegant reading room!
When in Bangkok, will always stay here!

Indretning:Hotellet blev renoveret i 2002. Det ligger på en hovedgade og består af en 38-etagers hovedbygning med i alt 454 værelser, heraf 271 enkelt- og 151 dobbeltværelser samt 32 suiter. Den klimatiserede bygning rummer desuden en foyer med en døgnåben reception, safeboks, vekselbørs og elevator samt et diskotek og en café. Endvidere er der en kaffebar, en souvenirbutik, et bageri, en frisørsalon, en skønhedssalon, en bar, en tv-stue samt hele tre klimatiserede à la carte restauranter med kinesisk, japansk og europæisk køkken (med børnestole). We found the Centara Grand at Central World Bangkok to be an excellent hotel. Location was very good, with easy access to the Central Mall via the lift. Fabulous views of the city from the bar at the top of the hotel. Great service. Thougt the fee for wifi very expensive, but found a cafe in the mall that had fabulous cakes that we could get free wifi so didn't mind going back and trying all the different cake varieties!! Would definately stay there if we went back to Bangkok. Booking through hotel club gave a good rate - we had value for money.

The Peninsula in Bangkok is everything you'd expect from a hotel of this category: rooms are well-appointed, service impeccable, location unbeatable.
We've stayed here twice in the past six weeks, and both times it was consistently good.
At half the price what you'd pay at the Mandarin Oriental just across the river for very similar quality and service, the Peninsula offers great value.
If the Peninsula management are reading this, there are only three areas where I find room for improvement:
1) Food (especially a-la-carte) is sub-standard. The morning buffet is lovely. But it all goes downhill from there. I've been disappointed at the Thai restaurant, the riverside terrace and pool-side snacks.
2) The boat service to River City is extremely annoying. Customers' needs - not a fixed schedule - should drive it. And customers should not have to "book" it on top of that. The Oriental's boat service to RC is available at any time upon request. Peninsula's should be the same.
3) Between our first stay in mid-December and early February, pool-side service declined noticeably. While the number of guests by the pool increased substantially, there were fewer staff to take care of them. Service was erratic at best.
Other than these three specific issues, everything else at Peninsula was flawless.

The service is beyond belief, better then I have received at any 5 star hotel, only Tokyo comes close. Everybody greets you, they open doors for you and then run to the elevator to pres the button. Large rooms, complimentary fresh fruit, large safe and orchids on your bed for turn-down service. Directly connected to the Skytrain.

Perfect for travelling with small kids !

We booked a 2 bed-room apartment as we were travelling with 2 small children. The apartments are very spacious, modern and have absolutely everything you could need for a short or a long stay.
The staff were excellent, very attentive, and took the trouble to learn the kid's names which they absolutely loved.
The hotel had a great freshwater pool area, with kids pool, and an indoor kids playroom.
We got breakfast and wifi included in our rate. Breakfast for short-stay guests is at the MoMo's cafe next door to the hotel. Great service (again with high chair and colouring sets for kids) and very good selection of Asian and Western dishes.
The only slight negative is that it is about 15 mins walk to the nearest Sky train - which can be tough in the heat with 2 little ones - but that is really minor, and a Tuk Tuk is never far away !!!
Great value stay - would not hesitate to recommend it for families wanting more space than your average hotel room.

Fraser Place Langsuan is strategically located in the heart of Bangkok city. Not only is the apartment close to Lumpini Park, which is the largest public park in central Bangkok, it is also in close proximity to a selection of shopping centres. Great entertainment and eating outlets are also a stone's throw away at Silom, Ratchadamri and Surawong.
Please be informed that the regular dining room at Amontre Restaurant Langsuan is closed from now until 31 October 2011 for a complete makeover. Regular breakfast and all-day dining is now served in the upper lobby area. Room service by our ever friendly Amontre staff will continue to be available as always.
Please be informed that as part of our property maintenance program, we will be carrying out repairs at Fraser Place Urbana Langsuan's swimming pool area from 19 September 2011 to 2 October 2011.

一進到Lobby，高挑的設計，還有潺潺流水，充滿泰式又有點歐風典雅的擺設，整個很棒。
飯店附近並沒有很多樣化的餐廳可選擇，但走路到central world大約10-15分鐘，且路口就有地鐵站。

While Front Desk was excellent, signs of complacency shows, little details like:
(1) erratic hot/cold water and showerhead with unaligned spray.
(2) towels with fray edges should be retired long long ago!
(3) do not RECYCLE used sponge provided at the kitchenette.
(4) mugs provided not properly washed.
(5) Need to instal a powerful fume exhaust at Egg station (in cafe)
oily smell lingers - on clothes - after having breakfast.
